Even when he's been stuck in his zone, there's no panic on his face, he's in control of things. He's a rookie, yes, but he holds himself well. He fits in well. He sure isn't out of place. He just has to realize that in the NHL it's easy to make it sometimes, but it's real tough to stay.

Maybe he did not belong here last year but obviously he does this year. Returning to the OHL at this point would not help him at all. He is way beyond that.
Sooner or later something has to change with the policy of not allowing young players like Guds and Huby in the AHL.
It’s the minimum level they require to be challenged.

one way, or another, they’re gonna make it so kids don’t play in the AHL under the age of 20. They’re tryin to raise the draft age to 19 now, and will probably include the single year of requirement to return the kids to juniors. So no kid under the age of 20 drafted out of Canadian juniors is gonna be playing in the AHL, one way or another.
