Gudbranson remains with Panthers
On the cusp of appearing in his ninth game with the Cats, rookie defenseman Erik Gudbranson was informed by head coach Kevin Dineen that he will not be reassigned to OHL Kingston.
Gudbranson, 19, was Florida's first selection (third overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. He has yet to record a point, thus far collecting a minus-4, 7 shots, 8 hits, and 3 blocks; his 24 penalty minutes tie him for 10th in the league.

Hearing how the team celebrated and piled on Guds when Dineen told them all that he was staying speaks to the chemistry this team seems to be forming. Good group of guys we have. :)

They’re just happy there will be more than one rookie to foot the bill at the annual Rookie Dinner :)
I think it was very cool of the Panthers to tell him this before game 9 and also in his hometown. I hope he celebrates with a GWG.
Here’s a vid of the celebration. I’m on my phone so it’s not a pretty link lol.
