Panthers prospect Kosov sustains injuries in car accident
Details are as yet sparse, very but Florida Panthers 2011 draft pick Yaroslav Kosov was involved in what appears to have been a serious auto accident Friday evening or early Saturday. Roughly translated from Sport.ru:
Forward Magnitogorsk " Metallurgist "Yaroslav Kolosov tonight got in an accident. Returning to the city,18-year-old forward, at speeds of 120km/h [about 75 mph] crashed into a "VAZ-2106". Kolosov was a closed head injury, severe concussion and a shift of vertebrae. The rehabilitation will take several months.
Not enough concrete info to draw any realistic conclusions other than this is a Vaz-2106. More to come as details emerge; our thoughts and prayers to he and his family.

That’s not very nice. I hope he has a good recovery and still plays hockey.
