Around SBN: Now They've Screwed Spurs, UEFA Willing To Review Rule

Panthers have most expensive hot dog in NHL.

And third priciest beer by the ounce. Sorry, but that's absolutely insane imo, as this team needs to be more affordable being in one of the worst economic regions of the USA AND for having sucked for so long. But it just goes back to the fact, they're marketing the team to the wealthy. Not the local, diehard fanbase.

You have to compensate when you’re A. Selling some of the cheapest seats in the League and B. Not filling said seats.

I’m sure when the house is full and the seats go up in pricing, the food and drink will come down.

^THIS. You save money on the seats, spend it on food. It evens out.

I’m putting here for reflection later on in the season…. #14 Tomas [Fleischmann] is getting a 40G season. FLASH COUNT: 5G/6A

Cheapest seats in the league? The Panthers rank 14th for average ticket price in the league. Detroit, Ottawa, San Jose, and Los Angeles are all cheaper than the Panthers. Panthers are tied with St Louis for highest priced soft drink (tho the Blues give two more ounces), 16th in parking, but give away free programs and a hate at $9.95 is the cheapest. They’re fifth lowest on premium seat prices. Again catering to the wealthier fans, than the average guy who might bring his wife or kid to a game.

If you honestly believe that Yormack would drop the prices when there is a full house, you’re sadly mistaken, as the reason will be tryin to gouge extra money from visiting fans.

Not sure how they’re 16th in parking when it’s free, unless they count all kinds of parking? from VIP to general?

Price of parking is included in cost of ticket.

Not according to that PDF. It’s a separate price column. Yes, when you buy a ticket for OUR games, it is worked into the price of the ticket. The only time it is more is if you want the Lexus lot or garage. For other teams, the price for parking is in addition to the ticket price.

Maybe

They are factoring in the cost of all the tickets people recieve by the Sunrise Police Department for Parking in the Sawgrass Mills Mall Parking lot…

If they’re going to sell me a $12 burger and fries, is it so hard to have it warm?

by Alexander Calloway on Nov 4, 2011 2:05 PM EDT reply actions

Regretfully Alex, yes it is. if you want something hot get the Cuban and ask them to press it before you get it.

I hereby predict Captain Mike Weaver #43 will score 6G 20A -RCR 0G4A 11/1

Rather get my food before the game elsewhere for all sports stadiums.

Oh and here’s the PDF if you wanna see it.

by MrOmnipotent on Nov 5, 2011 1:26 AM EDT reply actions

You need to take into consideration all of the vouchers/discounts/package deals that the Panthers offer for their tickets. That PDF is probably referencing the retail price for tickets….NOT what people are actually paying to get into the building.

So in that respect, the price of food & what you paid to get in can balance out.

I thought the whole experience was extremely affordable. Bargain tickets for 5-6th row, free parking, yeah food was expensive but thats why you eat before-hand.
