Biggest Gain: Kris Versteeg
It's hard to find gains this week, but Kris Versteeg had a fine week with three assists (one on the powerplay). His six game hitting streak did come to an end against Boston, and he was a minus-one, but his offensive game is still the best on the team.
Biggest Loss: Tomas Fleischmann
In 55 minutes on the ice, Fleischmann scored only one point (an assist) and went minus-five. While his defensive game is improving with four blocked shots and two hits, his shooting percentage dropped again from 13.5 to 12.2.
| Goaltenders | Trend | Notes |
| Scott Clemmensen |
|
Eight goals allowed on 47 shots for a weekly save percentage of .830 and 4.71 goals against average. |
| Jose Theodore |
|
Theodore's numbers weren't as bad this week as Clemmensen, but allowing six goals on 36 shots (.833 Sv%) and a weekly GAA of 4.56 is still bad. |
| Defensemen | ||
| Brian Campbell | ![]() |
Campbell bounced back from his poor week, with two points (an assist and goal). His plus/minus took a beating this week (minus-two), but he had nine blocked shots during the week and is currently on a four game blocked shot streak. |
| Keaton Ellerby | ![]() |
Two games this week for Ellerby, and zero points. His game blocked shot streak is still going (he had five in his two games). |
| Jason Garrison | ![]() |
Garrison had one lone point during the week (an assist), but he let his defensive to the talking this week. The B-52 Bomber had seven hits (extending his streak to ten games with a hit), and blocked three shots. |
| Erik Gudbranson | ![]() |
Could this be a turning point for Gudbranson? The rookie had neutral plus/minus, three hits, and four blocked shots. |
| Ed Jovanovski | ![]() |
Zero points, a minus-two, two hits, and one blocked shot for Jovocop. |
|
Dmitry Kulikov |
![]() |
Kulikov hasn't scored a point since December 8th. His three blocked shots and four hits are worth noting, but with 63 minutes of ice time last week, he's need to do more. |
|
Mike Weaver |
![]() |
Weaver had the worst plus/minus for defensemen this week (minus-three), but still played hard with five hits (four against Boston) and seven blocked shots. |

| Krys Barch | ![]() |
Zero points and a fight. A very Barch week. |

Zero points and a minus-two week for Kennedy. However, Kennedy is still hitting with seven hits during the week, extending his consecutive games with a hit to ten. |
| Tomas Kopecky | ![]() |
Finally a good week for Kopecky, who scored his first goal since December 8th (and fifth of the season). He also had a neutral plus-minus and three hits. |
| Shawn Matthias | ![]() |
Another good week in a season full of good weeks for Matthias. Danger scored a powerplay goal and went minus-one with increased ice time (played 55 minutes). |
![]() |
Repik scored his first career powerplay goal this week in Ottawa and dished out two hits against Boston. |
|
![]() |
Had two hits against Phoenix before leaving with an undisclosed injury |
|
| Mike Santorelli | ![]() |
Santorelli scored his first assist since November 15th, and finished the week with a minus-one. He did record three hits to extend his streak to six games and he blocked two shots. |

Remember when we were talking about how great the team is this season?
Now we’re only talking about, “Gee, it could be worse.”
