BOSTON, MA - MAY 17: Tyler Seguin #19 of the Boston Bruins hands his stick to a young fan after their 6 to 5 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game Two of the Eastern Conference Finals during the 2011 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs at TD Garden on May 17, 2011 in Boston, Massachusetts. "Bruins leading scorer Tyler Seguin also got Tuesday off, but not by choice. He was scratched after missing the team breakfast and a team meeting, but should return to the lineup in this one. How he responds to the disciplinary move will be one of the key things to watch in this one."
- NESN's Douglas Flynn, demonstrating a mastery of understatement. Seguin will be gunning for one of those "statement game" deals stemming not only from the recent benching but looking to break a lifetime pointless streak against Florida (four games, but still...)

Why last night rocked:
- It. Did. Not. Bound to run into one of those after all the recent help FLA has received
Why last night jonesed:
Three games, three lousy outcomes
- Washington over Ottawa, 5-3
- Carolina over Edmonton, 5-3
- Philadelphia over Buffalo, 5-4 (OT) Game should have been over twice in regulation; alas, points for everyone!
Why tonight is a Big Deal:
Could be some movement around the East this evening
- Ottawa at New Jersey, 7 p.m.
- Chicago at the Isles, 7
- Tampa Bay at the Rangers, 7
- Pittsburgh at Philadelphia, 7
- Vancouver at Montreal, 7:30
Next up for the Cats:
- Tonight from Boston; LBC Game Thread at 6:30 p.m. More from Stanley Cup of Chowder here.
Lastly, how about a hearty welcome to our newest pugilistic overlord?
