WHY?
Its a PdB conspiracy against me isn’t it?!?!

That doesnt make. Why dont they give Jessiman the time to play in the NHL?Ü

Stupid

Also:

Expect forward Tim Kennedy to join the Panthers on Tuesday or Wednesday. He still must go through re-entry waivers due to his $550,000 one-way contract, but NHL rosters are frozen from outsiders, so he can’t play anywhere but Florida. And he won’t be allowed to play for any other AHL team once clear-day rosters are submitted to the AHL on Monday.

Jessiman was a beast in that fight, to bad to see him go back down so quick.

And only because of Hordichuck. Hordichuk was bad in the last two games. The defensive collapse on the first goal and another minor. He shouldnt take those penaltys..

And it’s going to be the last week of the season before he’ll be back in the press box. They’re not keeping any extra forwards because Rochester might make the playoffs and we won’t be at 13 guys that won’t get sent back to Rochester until Matthias is back. So, there’s that.

Not that big of a deal

 Besides the fight Jessiman sucked.

Look at the Stillman goal. He has 2 chances to prevent it. First he misses an easy hit on the forecheck, which results in the first pass of the breakout. Then he lollygags back, and instead of defending the net he stares at Stillman’s numbers as Stiller sits right in front. Then after he scores he throws a cross check…

 He’s a liability. A very exciting liability.

Point taken.
If I was on PdB team he would bench me too.

I enjoy this post simply for its use of the word lollygag…

Something going unsaid with Jessiman

He only played 8 shifts/5:11. Next lowest forward – short og Hords – was Timmins with 14 shifts/9:12.

An obvious benching, and you very well could be right, Craig, on both points.

Remember he had that 5 minute penalty yesterday and played 9 minutes in the first game.

Well your math is certainly better than mine ;)

Still, sounds like PdB wasn’t happy.

PdB still has the tendency to bench physical players. I would’ve hated to be Paul Laus under PdB, he wasn’t the most skilled player but was solid, brought energy and a physicality to his game. PdB would’ve had him benched most of the time.

It’s not really of much value in the league anymore. The more effective types are the Matt Cookes, Chris Neils, Jarkko Ruutus. They are hitters, harassers, but are still productive on the score sheet in your average season.

So I agree with DeBoer’s style of giving the behemoths less time on the ice, as they generally ARE a liability.

Give his extra shifts to Repik, let the kid start to get his NHL legs under him. He’s got a lot of potential.

I’ll be happier when Dadonov’s back. I wonder if a line with him, Repik and Reasoner might be good for Repik. The kid has definitely been shooting more since his last call-up. It would be nice if he’d put one in, but it shows he’s been listening to the coach.
