If anyone ends up watching John McFarland and the Spirit tonight, take a look at captain, Josh Shalla. He went undrafted last year, and was 5th in the OHL in goals. The way he plays is a thing of beauty. He’s not flashy, but he’s the kind of player I think every team wants.

Also— I know Kingston is outclassed as a team in their first round matchup, but boy, Gudbranson looked terrible. Which is bad because he played great after coming back from suspension in mid Feb. (16 points in 15 games, his defense is still a bit shakey, and marginally questionable but there’s a big change in his play from say December to now.
