Team USA adds Panthers' Wilson
USA Hockey has added Florida Panthers defenseman Clay Wilson to their 2011 IIHF World Championship roster. The Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota native joins forward Jack Skille as the Americans look to rebound from a hellacious 13th place finish a year ago.
Note: yes, I originally posted Mike Weaver. Egg meet face.

Yes. This may help him get another contract. Good for him.

so many assets at D
What about Callahan, Robak, Comrie and that huge stud Petrovic? That’s 5 including Wilson and Dale already expressed interest bringing a Vet in come July; plenty of quality UFAs there. Think Dale will trade away some excess maybe to move up?? Gotta give if we are gonna get in return.

Robak or Petrovic and #3 to edmonton for #1 and a conditional swap of first rounders next year?
Just an idea. . . Thoughts? Worth giving up the d prospect and another potential top 5 pick for RNH?

IMO it’s not worth the cost; hold on to assets and take the player you need. We’re still at #3, and both clubs ahead of FLA need D.
