I'm guessing that Dallas GM Joe Nieuwendyk, Florida's Dale Tallon and Minnesota's Chuck Fletcher have the same writer. Witness their statements after firing their head coaches in recent days. Nieuwendyk: "I would like to thank Marc (Crawford) for the hard work he provided to the Dallas Stars. We wish him the best in the future." Tallon: "The entire Panthers organization would like to thank Peter (DeBoer) for his hard work and service to this franchise and wish him all the best in the future." Fletcher: "I would like to thank Todd (Richards) for the hard work he provided to the Minnesota Wild organization the last two seasons and wish him the best in the future."

It’s been that way for years. What are they going to do, badmouth the guy they just fired?
“We’d like to thank the coach for his years of overachieving with the dregs we’ve provided him and now would like him to take the blame for our failures. We wish him all the best in the future, unless he’s coaching against us in which case we wish him to come down with dysentery between the first and second periods.”
'we wish him the best of luck in the future'
Thats been the template waaaaaay before this season…

Strangely, all three spent time with FLA. Much ado about nothing, yes, but got a chuckle out of it
