Any guess as to whether Samsonov will stay on with the Cats at a bargain price? If not, any guess as to where he will be off to next? Any rumors swirling around?
I think after the deadline his stock may have gone up a little, but I really doubt he’ll be back with the Panthers, nowhere left for him on the roster.

I did point that out not long ago in a photo you posted Donny.
Sure there were many pieces to that magical team but there is no number but his that feels sacred to this original cats fan.

Oh yea John, I’m with you. Weiss is a super classy guy and is a team player, and deserves this roster overhaul (and consequently, top-notch wingers) more than anyone.
Screw buying new player jerseys, I’m a Weiss fan all the way :)
I was originally thinking of buying another Weiss jersey (first Panthers jersey I ever bought was a blue Weiss one), but with both Upshall and Versteeg on the team now, I don’t know.

I have an unnamed red one, but Weiss is probably my favorite Panther of all (other than Gord Murphy, I loved him back in the day), so I think I will likely buy a Weiss jersey in the new sweater.
I have 6, I think, but only 3 of the guys are still on the team. Of those, two are the now former home blues and the other is a game-worn third. My retired jerseys are an old red one and two of the road whites. So, now I need balance. Maybe I’ll get a red home and then get a new white one when there’s a good sale.

Third Jersey
With a red and white jersey already slated for next season, what will the alternate jersey be? Are they dumping the third jersey from last season already? Will last season’s home jersey be the alternate? Anyone heard anything about this?
Still using the 3rd from last year. Something to do with a contract with Reebok. A new 3rd is slated for release in 2012-13.

The more I listen to Tallon talk, the more I realize he just knows what he’s doing. The guy just oozes whatever it is that makes a team successful. Very excited for October to roll around.
