On the Prowl: Panthers Sunday Links & Open Thread

Welcome to On the Prowl, a collection of links compiled by LBC and published each Wednesday and Sunday to stories pertaining to the Florida Panthers, their affiliates, and the National Hockey League. Have at it after the jump...

LBC Notes

Lbc_preview2_medium

  • First, we'd like to send our very sincere thanks to all who took the time to participate in submitting new logo designs over the past two weeks; we were humbled by the sheer volume - a testament to the size and enthusiasm of our growing Florida Panthers online community - and hope to offer similar opportunities in the future. We're thrilled to announce the "winning" design was authored by Francisco Oporta (known around these parts as National Mario); his logo - a small, rather pixelated teaser above - will be going "live" on Monday. Hope you enjoy our new masthead as we move into LBC v. 2.0.
  • All-inclusive. Exceptional amenities. And sick parking to boot. Do it.

I hate Mike Brophy with great intensity.

I miss you already Olesz. What we had was tight. Still pulling for those 85 goals you were going to score under Dineen. Chicago will appreciate them, I'm sure.

I would just love to have Ballard back on the team, even though it would mean most likely getting rid of Weaver. Shame that Vancouver wasted his talents last season.

I wasn’t terribly happy to see him go, but canning Cap’n Weavsy would be a mistake.

ballard seemed to be kinda crappy last year, they benched him and in the playoffs only used him as the absolute last-case-scenario d man. i love our new D corps!
