My buddy just called me and invited me to an ‘Cigar City’ beer expo I guess on Brickell. I told him I was in until he told me it 50$ and then I got really sad

Is that the dinner on Wednesday? I’m going to that.
But, there are a bunch of tap takeovers down here next week (Laser Wolf in FTL, World of Beer in Boca, a bunch more I don’t remember). There’s bound to be one near you somewhere and you only have to pay regular price for the beer. Check the CCB site for the full list of places and beers. They’re bringing some weird beers, so it’s worth hitting at least one. I think we’re going to try for two plus the dinner. Going to be quite a week.

Same boat bro; day job tends to cut into it as well…

I had a blast! It was great seeing familiar faces & putting new faces to online friends. I can’t wait to see everyone again :)
Sooooo, if you don’t have tickets to the opening night, consider joining us in the Suite. Click here for details
I watched Pirates 2 on SYFY and envied all the fun emanating from my twitter timeline.

I was too busy having fun with my LBC mates & Zach!! Once Jovo was intervied by Goldie, looked like he was interviewed by Harvey and George… Didn’t see him around after that.
We need to push Mr. Yormark into bringing back Fan Appreciation Day. The day single tickets go on sale, put all the guys in the arena for autographs and let the public meet these guys face to face. Later in the season do a little something for season tix holders.. but really, if they want the public to come buy tickets- a salespitched bbq is not going to get your so-so fan out to the arena. Meeting Players, a guaranteed chance to meet the players brings people out.
Be impeccable with your word, don't take anything personally, don't make assumptions, always do your best...
I agree. Those were always a blast. I remember talking to a player (can’t remember who it was for the life of me) when there was a lull at his table. It was cool having a normal conversation like he was a normal guy. When they’re relaxed and having fun, you get to see a whole new side of them that you rarely see in public or on television.
Hah! If they appreciated the fans, maybe. I couldn’t even get invited to last year’s player signing event as a STH. Like they’re going to let a bunch of people who haven’t paid at least $3k a season to something like that.

I was having a blast talking hockey with my new LBC friends. Unfortunately I was working the event and kept getting pulled away to go sell people season tickets, but got a good amount of time to put some names to faces and talk hockey.
I can’t wait for the suite night so I can escape into the suite and enjoy the game with the best Panthers fans in the building.
I was almost getting in trouble talking to fellow LBC’ers because I was neglecting other people I was supposed to be meeting, oh well, made for a more fun night.
The cookout was fun. I showed up in my Sens uniform and was CLG_74 and RPC’s Kevin Costner for the event. It was pretty fun, seeing Jovo speak with his emotionless monotone voice, seeing March from SSH and the famous Catfan again, and eating a mildly cold burger. Fun event and can’t wait for the opening night game, where I revel my Panthers jersey.

It was great to see some of my hockey friends there last night! Seeing Jovo back was great! His kids were with him too which was weird to see because I still think of him as being so young. After his interview with George, he signed autographs and took pics with everyone there. Serge Payer is also one of the nicest people I have ever met! As far as asking yormark about fan appreciation day…it was actually called Hockeyfest and I actually emailed him a few weeks ago about it because I too remember going every year right before the season and getting to see all the players. His response was “we already do so many things that it isn’t necessary. We have hockey day in florida and you could always go to the dinner with the team before the season starts”…um most people don’t have $250 to go to an event like that. I know I already shell out enough money for season seats! I can’t wait till hockey is back though! GO PANTHERS!!!!
