I’m surprised that guys like Durocher and Racine were sent back while Seabrook was invited to camp. Was Seabrook even at rookie camp?
Anyways, looking forward to practice on the weekend and the double header on Monday. It’s gonna feel great stepping into the BAC at long last.

Seabrook was not at prospect camp as the team liley felt that he (like Plante, Esposito) would not benefit from rookie camp and instead was given a pass to main camp.

I see Bill Thomas is on the roster, but he’s SA property I thought….
Am I missing something?

Thomas is under contract to SA, but would be given a training camp tryout by the Panthers to take part in the Panthers camp. It is really just a technicality, but all teams basically start out with the players who they and their AHL teams will have on the Traingin camp roster, so everyone is on the same page throughout the year. Gives the SA group an early start to their training as they dont start for another week or two and the players assigned there today had the benefit of the rookie camp to get them started.

Does anyone want to post an open fantasy draft forum for all of us drafters to communicate in?
- Go Panthers -
There will be one open during the draft on the Yahoo! site, right where you make your picks.

Trocheck
So happy vinny trocheck made the camp, ive been a huge fan ever since the draft. Watched him play against the lightning Sunday and he made some things happen. He looks to have a very bright future for us
His name has been floated a lot lately.

Unlike the last guy wearing that number, this one has more grit AND charachter.

I sure hope your not talking about Frolik. Now, Olesz, I’ll go with, but Frolik was supposed to be a playmaker and scorer, not a banger and seemed to have plenty of character. He scored 20 goals twice in a defensively oriented system – which isn’t bad.
Now, our good buddy Rostislav, totally different story. Probably had character, but was to busy making mistakes for us to notice.
Charachter in the Hockey sense I see best described as drive and determination without fear. In todays NHL everyone needs to bang. Thats how you win. Wear down your opponent. Its not only about skill.
And no argument on Rosty. Completely non existent.

Garrett Wilson....
66 Goals 40 asst. 86 pts. 114 min PIM…..last season……..Is he THAT good or is the OHL that bad?
He had good linemates, but yes, he’s pretty good I think. Could see him with the big team if we have an injury at LW
