Panthers forwards Repik, Reinprecht clear waivers
While Michal Repik is now a certainty to be heading for a fitted Rampage sweater, less clear is the immediate future for 35-year old Steve Reinprecht, who may likely be seeking a return to Germany in the absence of an NHL offer.
If given the option by the organization (and that very well may not be the case), I still feel he should suck it up and collect his guaranteed salary while working with the kids in San Antonio - who could use his valuable veteran presence - but whatever. We'll have an answer soon.
Also of note: Quinton Howden was returned to Moose Jaw this afternoon.

howden
totally cool with him going back to juniors, we have enough depth, he might as well just mature a bit more and fill out.
its so exciting to have the depth to be able to send a great young player like howden down without worry.

Poor guy didn’t have a chance with that injury. Met him during the double header last week. Real nice guy, can’t wait till he is ready.
A lil thunder and a lil lightning is what the Cats are going to bring this year.

My excitement for the Rampage this season exceeds that for the Panthers. What an abundance of young talent!!!! Be great to see the Hazens, Wilsons, Robaks, et al make a run to the Calder Cup finals!
Rampage
bearcat30…I am super excited for the Rampage season to get under way…A lot of young guys on the cusp with pretty good vets to lead them…Are you down here in San Antone? And which Bearcats are you a fan of…?

Unfortunately, I live in ocala, Fl—aka-the land that time forgot. Just an intense Panther fan. That’s Cincinnati Bearcat, starting goalie circa 1975-79.
I'm an Ocala refugee as well
and yeah, it’s pretty barren up there. It’s where America goes to die. Growing up there sucked.
Small World...
I was born and raised in Cincinnati, joined the Air Force and was sent to San Antonio…Oddly enough, it took me moving to a HOT weather state to become a die hard hockey fan…GO PANTHERS, RAMPAGE, AND BEARCATS!!!
