I suppose he might star in an upcoming video with Brendan Shannahan.
With sequels.

Gudbranson got a hit to the head. Not sure if he’s ok or not, I didn’t notice him playing after that.

I think it was actually Kennedy that got hit, my bad.

Interesting that the third star went to Huberdeau, but the league has no picture of him on file. The third-overall selection last June has no photo at NHL.com.
I’m sure this happens in the NFL and NBA all the time.

sheldon souray
was on kopecky all night, what a complete tool.
strong game by the cats, plante gave the win to dallas but had markstrom stayed in we absolutely would have won. chemistry is definitely forming

Chemistry is definitely forming.
Plante was horrible, and Markstrom was great. I’m starting to think that Markstrom will start the season with us instead of Plante. It gives him better experience anyways.

One of the best losses I’ve ever been too in the building, just great action overall. Matthais made his claim for grabbing a spot, as well as Huberdeau. Does anyone know if Gudbranson is ok though, after that hit to the head? Great to see Matty defend him, first time that we’ve seen that.

Small things build a great team.
A lil thunder and a lil lightning is what the Cats are going to bring this year.

Souray was on Kopecky all night, then the rest of the Dallas team ganged up on him. He ended his shift about three separate times without a helmet and his jersey all ruffled up. The refs of course didn’t see any of this happen.
The chemistry is coming along. If anything, this penalty ridden game helped bring the group together.
It was great to see the team come together and stand up to Dallas when Kennedy was crushed. I wish I could see Thursdays game.
My favorite sequence of events by far was when Kopecky and Souray were sent to the penalty box. Gologoski was already in there and was giving Kopecky the “Come get it” gesture from the box. Versteeg must have taken note because right when Gologoski came out of the box, Versteeg tapped his leg with his stick and they started going at it. Versteeg dominated him completely, throwing a few uppercuts in there.
My girlfriend finally realized why I’m such a fan of him.

Also, the line of Fleischmann-Kopecky-Versteeg was pretty sick. Good chemistry going on there.

Versteeg.. def needs to be considered for Captain.
I hereby predict Captain Mike Weaver #43 will score 6G 20A -RCR

lol I love how everyone is jumping on the Steeger bandwagon now!
Steeg won’t make captain but chances are he’ll sub in as an alternate if our capt or alternate are out.

Hey hey! I’ve been a Steeg fan since his days in Chicago. :P
I doubt as well he makes Captain, but I could see an A on his sweater, along with Campbell and/or Weiss.

If Jovo is going to be captain then I see A’s going to Weiss and Campbell or Kopecky.. if one of them are out (which Jovo most likely will be) then Steeg will fill in I’m sure

OnFrozenPond George Richards
#FlaPanthers C Mike Santorelli out for opening weeks with shoulder injury
I guess we’ll be seeing Matthias and Carter now
I’m putting here for reflection later on in the season…. #14 Tomas [Fleischmann] is getting a 40G season.
