Florida forward directs strong comments toward the Commissioner and his righthand man.
Count Kris Versteeg among the players who have had enough of the negotiating tactics of the NHL's two lead men in the CBA fight. In an interview on Toronto's TSN 1050 today, Versteeg lashed out at Gary Bettman and Bill Daly, basically calling the two cancers who needed to go for the good of the game once a new deal is finally agreed upon.
It will be interesting to see what happens later today as the league and union are slated to meet again for the first time since November 11th. The rhetoric really seems to be ramping up as many are starting to feel that we are the verge of losing another season.
I've got to give it to Versteeg for letting his true feelings out. I think more players need to be speaking out and applying pressure to the leadership of both sides of this mess to push them towards making an agreement.
