Washington Capitals at Florida Panthers - Game 57 Preview
Florida: 27-18-11 (65PTS)
Washington: 28-23-5 (61PTS)
Season Series: 2-2-0
Game Time: 7:30 PM EST
Television: Fox Sports Florida, Comcast SportsNet
Radio: 560 WQAM
The Panthers hold the Southeast Division lead by four points as the second place Washington Capitals make their final visit to Sunrise this season. The Panthers are third in the Eastern Conference by virtue of leading the division, while the Capitals are sitting in ninth place, one place out of a playoff spot and three points behind the eighth-place Toronto Maple Leafs. The Panthers need a win tonight to keep their distance from the Capitals while the Capitals need the win not only to catch up to the Leafs and Panthers, but to stay ahead of the Winnipeg Jets, who are one point back in tenth place. The teams have split the games this season, with Tomas Vokoun getting two shutout wins in Washington and Scott Clemmensen picking up two wins in Sunrise. The Panthers will need a better effort than they showed in the second period against Ottawa on Wednesday night if they want to extend their division lead.

Barry’s best this week he picked Soupy as best d-man..
One thing I didn’t agree on that he said is that he’s won a cup and not many guys in our locker room can say that.. did he look at the roster?
Campbell and versteeg, kopecky with 2, madden with 3, samuelsson.. then theres flash, goc, bergy, jovo, sturm, upshall, all with big playoff experience, all either going to the finals or conf finals for the most part and some on several occasions.

That's funny
Tonight will be his first game played against the Capitals since spending the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons in Washington
Many a hockey observer thought Theodore was playing for the team facing the Captials as Theodore played Goalie for the capitals. Washington’s non stellar goaltending being responsible for them not making the SC finals. In other words.
Seriously, I think you need to fix that paragraph. Unless Theodore faced Washington while playing for Minnesota, then he hasn’t faced the team since 2006-07 at least.(When he was with Colorado)
the team facing the Captials
And the Captials are…?

Reading comprehension, dude. Am I going to have to break it down for you?
1. Tonight Jose Theodore plays against the Capitals.
2. Jose Theodore played for the Capitals in the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 seasons.
3. In the two seasons following (2010-2011 and the current season), Jose Theodore has not played against the Capitals.
Therefore: Tonight’s game is the first time Jose Theodore has played against the Capitals since he played for the Capitals.
Next week in English 101, we’ll cover prepositions.

The “rule” that says you can’t use a preposition at the end of a sentence is a rule in Latin, not in English, so you can feel free to ignore it, no matter what your English teacher says.
