Closing out the second round from Madison Square Garden...

  • (7) Washington at (1) NY Rangers, 7:30 p.m. (NBCSN): Neither club has won back-to-back, nor scored more than 3 goals in any game. New York has won both overtime matches, home and road. Capitals have three players (Jason Chimera, Alex Ovechkin, Nicklas Backstrom) tied for the club points lead at 4; Rangers' Marian Gaborik and Brad Richards have 6 and 5, respectively. Goaltenders: Braden Holtby - 1.88/.928; Henrik Lundqvist - 1.76/.923.

If Caps win: will play at (6) New Jersey Monday, 8 p.m.
