(8) Los Angeles at (3) Phoenix, 9 p.m. (NBCSN):

  • LA's Dwight King (above, reverting to an alternate but equally effective secondary personality) leads all players with 4 goals (2 of which were GWs) on the series; his team has yet to lose on the road in 2012 playoff action, despite a grisly 8.6% success rate on the man advantage. Yotes netminder Mike Smith continues to hold a reasonable 2.26/.940 combination; has allowed 2 goals and completed a 36-save shutout in the past 2 games, going 1-1. At the other end, Jonathan Quick hit a minor bump in the road Sunday in a 2-0 loss (19 saves), but otherwise boasts sparkling individual stats in the series at 1.26/.945. Kings (3-1) can clinch the 2012 Western Conference championship with a victory this evening.
