San Antonio has now picked up at least a point in nine straight games.

The San Antonio Rampage got back in the swing of things after the AHL All-Star break with a 2-1 shootout win over the Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday night at Van Andel Arena.

After a scoreless opening frame, Drew Shore scored off a deflection to tie the game in the second period, just 54 seconds after Teemu Pulkkinen had given the Griffins a 1-0 lead.

Bobby Butler picked up the only assist on Shore's third AHL goal of the season. Butler now has 29 points on the season, good for second-best on the Rampage.

Butler and Shore combined to do the damage in the shootout to stake San Antonio to their third straight win. The Rampage now have points in 13 of their last 14 games.

Butler beat Grand Rapids goaltender Tom McCollum in the first round and Shore tallied in the third round.

San Antonio keeper Michael Houser was perfect against the four Griffins he faced in the skills competition. Houser finished regulation and overtime with 37 saves.

The Rampage and Griffins will meet again tonight in Grand Rapids.
