Litter Box Cats, a Florida Panthers community

Two Panthers prospects, North Dakota's Corban Knight and Minnesota's Kyle Rau, were honored by the WCHA for their performance last weekend. Knight scored 3 goals and 4 points for the Fighting Sioux in their win and tie over Michigan Tech and was named WCHA Player of the Week. Rau had 3 assists in the Gophers' sweep of Bemidji State and was named WCHA Rookie of the Week. The two were joined by Minnesota goalie Kent Patterson (Colorado) in being honored.

A big week for future Panthers in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, as Denver goaltender Marc Cheverie (7th round, 2006) has been named defensive player of the week, while North Dakota forward Corban Knight (5th round, 2009) takes home rookie honors for the same period.
