Another fabulous day at the "airport"; beach temperatures and boating conditions abound. Alas, I'm staring at it out of a window, but I'm lucky nonetheless; I've lived neck-deep in snow and ice storms before. I'll be straight: I far prefer hurricanes - seriously - to ice storms. Something evil and demonic. Similar to Peter Karmanos. Hard to describe.
Anyway, back to what, aside from a few games, should prove to be a quiet week, now that the holiday trade-freeze went into effect last night. Even the Sundin-to-the-Nucks signing didn't really surprise everyone. Certainly not the Rangers.
The Panthers host Colorado tomorrow at 5pm. Tomas Vokoun will again get the start.
