Thursday Caterwaul: Panthers GameDay Open Forum

The Capitals currently have two streaks underway; extending one will end the other. Washington is shooting for a seventh-straight win over the Panthers tonight, the result of which would put the brakes on a three-game skid. Of course, the Cats are gunning for a three game winning stretch of their own, and considering the drama with which they stole the last two, anything's possible when the likes of Stephen Weiss and David Booth are playing with fire...even in D.C. Question is, can they string together several A-1 performances?

  • Not to be outdone by Weiss' heroics Tuesday night, NBC thought very highly of Booth's effort as well.
  • Michael (and Brett) Yormark are profiled by the New York Times. Any coverage is good coverage, right?
  • Links galore and pregame talk at Japers' Rink.
  • Looking to attend the Panthers Foundation Gold Classic at Heron Bay? You're a little late.
  • Florida netminders vs Washington: Tomas Vokoun (7-12-1), Scott Clemmensen (2-4-0). Flip a coin.
  • Michael Frolik has been rather spectacular - relatively speaking - against the Caps, collecting 10 points (5g) in twelve games.
