Roberto Luongo and the Canucks stroll into Sunrise this evening having gone 1-3 in their past four. It's King Louie's second game in Florida against his former team; the first, on February 1st, 2008, ended in a 4-3 SO win by the Cats on Nathan Horton's GW in the skills competition.

Neither Horts nor Florida wins have been in evidence of late, so someone else will have to play the part of hero.

Is there any novelty left in a Luongo appearance at BankAtlantic Center? He was dealt in June of 2006...

Lots of news-which-isn't-really-news over the past day, as rumors abound regarding names like Horton, Dennis Seidenberg, Jordan Leopold, Dominic Moore, and - gulp - David Booth.

While there may be some truth to most of the above players - all quite popular in their own distinct ways - being bandied about in potential deals, scratch Booth of the list. Not going anywhere.

Rostislav Olesz and his broken hand almost certainly won't be dealt, if anyone was interested in taking on this to begin with.

Anything breaks through the day paste it up here, as always.
