"The first one's the hardest one to get. Credit to the team tonight, especially my line. [Sturm] got a great goal, good for him to get his first goal, too.''

- Florida's Jack Skille, who added an assist and team-high five shots vs the Leafs

Highlights from Tuesday's 5-1 victory in Toronto; ever see a happier guy than Marco Sturm at the 2:12 mark? The evening closed on a better note than could have been expected, as Carolina, Montreal, and Washington all fell in regulation, while Winnipeg was dropped in the extra frame by Buffalo. A pleasant night all around.

Looking ahead, tonight holds two games of major significance for Florida (17P; full standings here):

  • Philadelphia (18P) @ Tampa Bay (16P)
  • NY Rangers (17P) @ Ottawa (15P)

Gotta go with Philly over the Lightning, but that second game makes for a nasty headache.
