With Radek Dvorak and Cory Stillman now gone, the last member of the old "Century Village Line" Marty Reasoner sits in play. As the deadline inches closer, look for GM Dale Tallon to make a move that sends the 34-year old Reasoner to a contender. The veteran forward is most known for his PK prowess (Ranks first amongst FLA forwards for SH TOI with 171:43) and efficiency at the face-off dot (leading the Cats with a 54.3 FO%, which is good for 20th in the NHL), but he's currently on pace for 35 points, which would be a career best-- which makes him even more of a bargain at his $253,495 prorated cap hit.

Early rumours dictate that Reasoner could end up in Vancouver, but consider him a last minute option for a teams like Washington and Anaheim who need veteran help down the middle. He has reportedly expressed a desire to remain with the Panthers.
