Prospect of the Week:
Saturday saw Jacob Markstrom play in his 100th American Hockey League game; he was in net for the first of a two-game back-to-back series against the Charlotte Checkers. The Rampage won 3-2, with Markstrom stopping 29 shots on net (.935 Sv%), winning his 15th game of 2012-13 (2 shy of matching his AHL career high). In 31 games, he's currently ninth in the AHL in save percentage, eighth in minutes, and third in saves. With Florida goaltenders currently 26th in 5-on-5 save percentage, "Alien" might get a well-deserved promotion soon.
