So here we sit, anxiously awaiting whatever moves - if any - are destined to come our way on the eve of another NHL trading deadline (3 p.m. Wednesday).

As is nothing new for this franchise, there has been scant little information wafting from the management offices at BB&T Center. Anyone who has followed the Panthers in even the most remote fashion through this shortened season knows the score: there just isn't much to work with, thanks to an injury list which hampered the team first on ice, and now in negotiations with fellow clubs. But any "news" is big "news" at this time of year, so we'll continue to speculate and construct deals and pore over the excruciating minutia, as Elaine Marie Benes would eloquently phrase it, of every last Tweet before tomorrow afternoon.

Forward Greg Rallo was recalled from San Antonio this morning, so read into that what you will; Drew Shore had one of those cryptic "maintenance days" on Monday, so figure Rallo to be his standby.

Otherwise it's business as usual here at The Box, so before this evening's game in Tampa feel free to share your thoughts on the deadline below, whether relating to Florida in particular or the league in general.

As for tomorrow, we'll feature our annual all-day LBC Deadline Thread beginning around 11. Free parking this year, so no excuses not to jump in with both feet.

One twist on tonight's gamethread: it's a "Road Trip"! We'll all be joining our pals at Raw Charge for the first and third periods, while hosting the second frame here at LBC. Been far too long since we've done one of these, and it's always a fun exercise with some fantastic hockey people who just happen to prefer the Lightning for whatever reason. We'll of course provide all the relevant links when our own thread goes live around 7, and shoot over to RC when the game gets under way.

Onward...
