Breaking from recent tradition of holding such annual events at several Duffy's Sports Grill locations, the Panthers will open the doors of their home barn on Sunday, June 30th in celebration of the National Hockey League's latest Entry Draft, in which Florida - so far - will select second-overall behind the Colorado Avalanche. From the club:

The Draft Party will feature food and drinks, along with appearances from the Redline Lady Panthers and Stanley C. Panther. Panthers Patrol members will also be on hand with games, prizes and giveaways for fans. Pantherland will be open and have special offers on merchandise.

Fans will also have a chance to tour the BB&T Center including exploring the Panthers locker rooms. The 2011-12 Southeast Division Championship Banner and Zamboni’s will be available for unique photo opportunities during the Draft Party.

A bit more info can be found here. Of course, LBC will be conducting our own Entry Draft Live Thread throughout the day, so whether you find yourself watching the league's festivities from the BB&T Center or elsewhere, we'll have an open outlet for cheers and jeers.
