Short of the recent Prospect Camp announcement there's been little to prove the lights remain on at BB&T Center as the final week of August - traditionally the sport's "slowest" month - kicks in. That pace is certain to pick up rapidly in the none-too-distant days ahead as players begin drifting into Coral Springs for informal skates & workouts prior to the official start of Training Camp (September 12!).
Translation: only three more weeks remain before the annual injury parade gets underway, and I for one am stoked to once again join in enthusiastic chants of "Upper...Body...clap...clap...clap...clap...clap" from Saveology Iceplex. Why fight destiny, eh?
In any event, one quick LBC-related note: our own Todd Little - who, speaking of keeping lights on, has thankfully done just that around here over the past three months - will be discussing his recent NHL expansion article as a featured guest on Saturday's Metropolitan Hockey Report via KLAY 1180 AM at 4 p.m. ET (live stream here). Do try to catch it live :)
It's a Caterwaul, so the floor be yours...
