From the Panthers Monday afternoon...

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that LW Garrett Wilson has been recalled from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).

Wilson, 23, has appeared in 60 games for San Antonio this season, collecting 24 points (12-12-24) and 45 penalty minutes. He has played in 97 career AHL game over three seasons with the Rampage (2011-14), recording 30 points (16-14-30) and 66 penalty minutes. Wilson has yet to appear in an NHL game.

The Barrie, ON native was selected by the Panthers in the fourth round (107th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

So there is your current replacement for injured forward Jonathan Huberdeau, whom even Florida coach Peter Horachek claimed wasn't quite sure what took down the reigning NHL Calder Trophy winner during Sunday's eventual shootout loss to the Canucks in Sunrise, only stating that it was of the upper-body sort. Huberdeau did not make the trip.

The Cats next play Tuesday evening at San Jose (LBC GameThread at 10 pm).
