Thank you everyone for the continued support and extremely happy to be a part of the @FlaPanthers organization!— Connor Brickley (@ConnorBrickley) April 21, 2014
Brickley just finished his fourth season playing for the University of Vermont Catamounts. After his team was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament, he signed an ATO with the San Antonio Rampage and suited up for eight games, where he tallied a goal, an assist, and finished with a plus-one rating.
In his four years with the Catamounts, the Massachusetts native scored 21 goals and added 27 assists in 117 games. The 15 points he amassed during his senior season was a career-high.
Brickley projects as a diligent checking-line player who will need some time in the AHL to hone his craft before he's ready to move up to the NHL. Injuries played a part in stunting his development while he was at Vermont. Look for him to get plenty of ice time in San Antonio next season.
