Nashville plus four.

Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

As is no secret the Florida Panthers have four representatives in today's NHL All-Star Game, which is really more of a tournament than a single match.

Coached by Gerard Gallant, the Cats' trio of Jaromir Jagr, Aaron Ekblad & Roberto Luongo will participate with the Atlantic Team in hopes of slaying the Metropolitans at 5 p.m. ET. The victor in that opening "round" will slot in against the Pacific vs Central winner for a final showdown of East vs West.

All games will by played in a single 20-minute format in 3-on-3, with a whistle at the 10-minute mark to switch sides. Luongo is expected to start the first match.

Yes, I'm absolutely eating up this new concept. Love it, love it, love it. Thank you NHL.
