Round Robin play wrapped up on Thursday in Toronto and all of the Florida Panthers participating in the 2016 World Cup are heading home.
Russia whitewashed Finland by a 3-0 count to edge Team North America for the final spot in the semifinals and will meet Group A-winner Canada Saturday night at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.
The other semifinal will pit Group B-winner Sweden against Team Europe. That game will take place on Sunday at 1 p.m. on ESPN.
The Russians got goals from Vladimir Tarasenko, Ivan Telegin and Evgeni Malkin. Sergei Bobrovsky made 21 saves for the shutout.
Finland only scored one goal in its three Group B games.
Aleksander Barkov logged 18:03 of ice time and posted one shot on goal, a hit and an even rating.
Jussi Jokinen went -1 and registered two shots on goal and one hit in 14:16 TOI.
Jokinen finished the tournament with one assist while Barkov went pointless for the Finns. Vincent Trocheck scored a goal for Team North America and Aaron Ekblad played one dominant game for the exciting 23-and-Under squad before having his stint cut short by injury.
In the final Group A game, the Czech Republic held on to pull out a 4-3 win over Team USA.
