The Florida Panthers are off today as they prepare for their penultimate home game against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night.

A lot has changed since the last time the two teams met and the Panthers won one a last second goal by Vincent Trocheck to finish off a perfect five-game road trip.

The Cats have sunk like a rock since that game on February 20, the high point of the season, crashing out of a playoff spot with an ugly 5-15-1 record.

If the Panthers don’t find a way to win one or two of their final three games, they could tumble from sixth place to seven of maybe even eighth.

According to reports Tom Rowe’s stint behind the bench will be over come Sunday. It remains to be seen if will return to being the full-time general manager.
