Predators will play for the Stanley Cup

Colton Sissons scored three goals and Pekka Rinne made 38 stops as the Nashville Predators eliminated the Anaheim Ducks with a 6-3 victory in Game 6 at Bridgestone Arena. The Predators advanced to the Stanley Cup finals for the first time in franchise history. Congratulations, Nashville! That Phil Housley interview is going to have to wait.

The Pittsburgh Penguins can join the Predators if they beat the Ottawa Senators tonight (NBCSN - 8 pm) in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference final.

In Florida Panthers news, Sam Brittain made 38 saves to help the Manchester Monarchs to a 5-1 win over the South Carolina Stingrays. The ECHL Eastern Conference final series is now tied at three games apiece. Fellow prospect Thomas Schemitsch registered two shots, four PIM, and finished with a +1 rating. Game 7 is in Manchester on Wednesday night. The winner will take on the Colorado Eagles for the Kelly Cup.
