The final two Florida Panthers prospects that were still playing are now done. Last night, the Manchester Monarchs were beaten 4-3 on home ice by the South Carolina Stingrays in Game 7 of the ECHL Eastern Conference final. Olivier Archambault scored twice for the Stingrays, including the game-winner 8:56 into the third period.

Goaltender Sam Brittain made 26 stops and defenseman Thomas Schemitsch finished the game with a +1 rating for the Monarchs.

Brittain finished an impressive postseason with an 11-8 record, 2.33 GAA, .925 save percentage and one shutout.

Schemitsch played in 16 out of 19 playoff games and registered six assists and posted a +4 rating.

The Pittsburgh Penguins and Ottawa Senators will meet tonight at PPG Paints Arena to decide who advances to meet the Nashville Predators for the Stanley Cup. NBCSN has the television coverage for you at 8 pm.
