Artemi Panarin scored 6:02 into overtime to give the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets a 4-3 win in Game One of its series with the Washington Capitals.

Lats night’s other games were more of the one-sided variety with the defending Western Conference champion Nashville Predators beating the Colorado Avalanche 5-2; the San Jose Sharks blanked the Anaheim Ducks 3-0 in Orange County; the Tampa Bay Lightning took out the New Jersey Devils 5-2; and the Boston Bruins blasted the Toronto Maple Leafs by a 5-1 count.
