Knights stay Golden thanks to Haula’s double overtime winner

Erik Haula scored with 4:37 left in double overtime to give the Vegas Golden Knights a 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings at T-Mobile Arena. The expansion team now leads the series two games to none.

The Philadelphia Flyers evened its series with the Pittsburgh Penguins with an impressive 5-1 road win at PPG Paints Arena. Sean Couturier scored a goal and added to two assists to lead the Flyers.

Connor Hellebucyk only had to make 16 saves in the Winnipeg Jest 4-1 win over the Minnesota Wild. Tyler Myers, Paul Stastny, Andrew Copp and Patrik Laine scored the goals for the Jets, who took a two games to none lead in the series.

Dryden Hunt (21) scored a goal and drew the lone assist on Curtis Valk’s (20) third period tally. Joel Lowry and rookie Owen Tippett set up Hunt’s second period power-play goal. Harri Sateri made 46 saves in the loss.
