Iginla officially calls it quits; more signings

After playing 20 NHL seasons, Jarome Iginla officially announced his retirement yesterday at a press conference in Calgary. Iginla suited up for 1554 regular season games and finished with 625 goals and 1,300 points. (Sportsnet)

The New York Rangers signed forward Kevin Hayes to a one-year contract worth $5.175 million, avoiding an arbitration hearing set for August 2. Hayes will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the 2018-19 season. (Blueshirt Banter)
