On tap for tonight is the 2019 SAP NHL All-Star Skills competition with six events that will showcase the league’s top talent at 9 p.m. at SAP Center in San Jose, CA, home of the San Jose Sharks. The event will be televised on NBCSN in the U.S. and on Sportsnet, CBC and TVA Sports in Canada. All six events will be individual competitions, with the winner of each event earning $25,000. Florida Panthers defenseman Keith Yandle will be participating.

The events are:

• Bridgestone NHL Fastest Skater

• Enterprise NHL Premier Passer

• Ticketmaster NHL Save Streak

• Gatorade NHL Puck Control

• SAP NHL Hardest Shot

• Honda NHL Accuracy Shooting

The Springfield Thunderbirds will visit the Syracuse Crunch tonight with puck drop at 7 p.m. A win coupled with a Lehigh Valley loss to Laval in regulation would move the T-Birds into third place in the AHL’s Atlantic Division.
