Jordan Binnington stopped 26 shots and Patrick Maroon notched the other St. Louis goal. Blake Wheeler, Patrik Laine and Mark Schefiele scored for the Jets, who fell behind 2-0 in the series.
Mark Stone scored the go-ahead goal in the second period and William Karlsson added a shorthanded breakaway tally for insurance in the thrid as the Vegas Golden Knights pulled out a 5-3 road win over the San Jose to knot the series at a game apiece. The Golden Knights jumped out to a 3-0 lead, chasing starter Martin Jones, before the Sharks lit the lamp three times in a 2:09 span late in the first period to tie the game.
