Defenseman Matt Grzelcyk scored two goals in the Boston Bruins 6-2 Mother’s Day Massacre of the Carolina Hurricanes at TD Gardens. Jake DeBrusk, Connor Clifton, David Backes and Danton Heinen also scored for the Bruins. Deadline acquisition Charlie Coyle and Torey Krug dished out three assists as Boston led by six before Justin Williams and Teuvo Teravainen scored in the second half of the third period. Petr Mrazek gave up all six goals on just 25 shots. The Hurricanes, who are undefeated at home during the playoffs, will need to turn things around in Raleigh or this series is going to be over quick.
