Joe Pavelski returned to action and potted a goal and added an assist in the first period that helped push the San Jose Sharks to a 3-2 victory over the visiting Colorado Avalanche in Game 7 on Wednesday night. Martin Jones made 27 saves and Tomas Hertl and Joonas Donskoi (GWG) also scored for the Sharks. Jones shut the door after Tyson Jost pulled the Avalanche within one when he scored 51 seconds into the third period. Mikko Rantanen lit the lamp late in the first after Pavelski and Hertl tallied to put San Jose up 2-0. The Sharks advance to Western Conference Final where they will take on the St. Louis Blues.
