A 40-man contingent of Florida Panthers prospects hit the ice for development camp yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, yours truly has a job and was not able to attend so we’ll have to pull information from other sources (hopefully some of of you readers) to keep up with what’s going down in Coral Springs.
There is this highlight of first round pick Spencer Knight making a nice save
The kids from Blue Squad hit the ice again at 8:40 this morning while the Red Squad will practice at 10:40 a.m.
In other Panthers news, general manager Dale Tallon was quoted as saying ‘Let’s put it this way; we have spread a lot of fertilizer out there. And I’m pretty good at that. So we’re hoping that, you know, a little water, a little rain that it’ll come to bloom.’’ after being asked about free agency. It appears that strong offers have been made to Sergei Bobrovsky and Artemi Panarin.
Our division rival from Quebec also met with prized UFA forward Matt Duchene, but Eric Engels thinks it’s unlikely he’ll sign with the Habs. (Sportsnet)
