In addition to our annual Standings-based predictions contest, I thought I’d throw something new out there for the upcoming season. This is a 15-question yes/no contest based strictly on the Atlantic Division. There is also a tiebreaker question that will only come into play if we don’t have have a winner after grading the 15 questions.

You’ve got a couple days to get your answers in, but make sure you answer the questions in the proper order! Might be a good idea to copy and paste the questions into the comment section and answer them that way.

Division-based questions

  1. Will Tampa Bay, Boston and Toronto (in any order) take the top three spots again?
  2. Will an Atlantic Division team win the President’s Trophy?
  3. Will an Atlantic Division team win the Stanley Cup?
  4. Will a player from an Atlantic team win the Hart Trophy?
  5. Will a player from an Atlantic team win the Art Ross Trophy?
  6. Will a player from an Atlantic team win the Norris Trophy?
  7. Will a goalie from an Atlantic team win the Vezina Trophy?

Team-based questions

8. Florida Panthers: Will the Panthers make the playoffs this season?

9. Boston Bruins: Will Tuukka Rask post more than 30 wins?

10. Buffalo Sabres: Will Jeff Skinner score 40 goals again?

11. Detroit Red Wings: Will the Red Wings win more than 35 games?

12. Montreal Canadiens: Will Carey Price play in over 60 games?

13. Toronto Maple Leafs: Will Mitch Marner lead the Buds in scoring?

14. Ottawa Senators: Will the Senators finish with more than 70 points?

Bonus question (will only apply in case of a tie at the top)

Will the new Seattle team’s nickname be the Sockeye(s)?
