Knight makes 30 saves in BCC win

Florida Panthers goaltending prospect Spencer Knight stopped 30 of 33 shots in Boston College’s season-opening 4-3 win over previously undefeated UMass.

Logan Hutsko also suited up for the Eagles and set up two goals. Hutsko finished the game with three shots on net and +2 rating. The senior drew the primary assist on Jack McBain’s game-opening goal and then picked up a secondary helper on Boston College’s second tally.

Sanntu Kinnuen picked up his seventh assist of the Liiga season as Tappara skated to a 5-2 win over Lukko. Kinnunen logged 15:03 TOI and finished the game with a +1 rating.

Aleksi Saarela was held off the score sheet in the loss for Lukko. He registered two shots on goal and a -2 rating in 16:51 TOI.

Eetu Luostarinen logged a game-high 23:38 of ice time in KalPa’s 4-3 shootout loss to Pelicans. Luostarinen finished the game with two shots on goal and +1 rating. He didn’t score on his third-round chance in the shootout.

Alec Rauhauser didn’t figure in the scoring in DVTK Polar Bears 3-2 overtime loss to HK Poprad in action from the Tipos Extraliga. Rauhauser has six points (3G/3A) in eight games for DVTK this season.
