The Wisconsin Badgers and Michigan Spartans two-game series scheduled for tonight and Wednesday in East Lansing, MI will not be played. Medical officials from each of the Big Ten schools conferred after a positive covid-19 test was found within the Badgers’ program and decided to postpone the two tilts.

So, Florida Panthers prospects Owen Lindmark and Tyler Inamoto (Wisconsin) and defenseman Cole Krygier of Michigan State will not get in any game action this week.

Emil Djuse has returned to KHL action and he picked up an assist yesterday in Spartak Moscow’s 3-2 overtime win over Jokerit. Djuse drew the primary assist on Martin Bakos’ game-winner 56 seconds into the extra sesssion. The 27-year-old registered three shots on goal and finished with a +2 rating in 17:46 TOI. In 22 games for Spartak, Djuse has produced two goals and 14 points.

The NHL and NHLPA continue to grind away at an agreement that will allow the season to being in mi-January, with non-playoff teams reporting to training camp on December 28 and others on January 1. Hopefully, this will all be sorted out by the end of the week.
