Florida Panthers prospect Rodrigo Abols played 17:51, registered three shots on goal and posted a +1 rating by being on the ice for Borna Rendulic’s goal during Orebro HK’s 1-0 overtime win over Leksands IF in Tuesday action from the Swedish Hockey League.

Abols has produced five goals and nine points in 14 SHL games this season.

2020 second-rounder Emil Heineman did not play for Leksands as he is participating in Sweden’s World Junior Championship camp.

Florida reserve Maxim Mamim combined with former Panther Bogdan Kiselevich to set up both goals in CSKA Moscow’s 2-1 overtime win over Torpedo. Mamin finished the game with five shots on goal, one hit, and a +1 rating in 16:59. The 25-year-old has 11 goals and 25 points in 33 KHL games this season.

In NCAA action, defenseman Michael Benning, taken by the Cats in the fourth round in 2020, had one shot on goal and blocked a shot in the University of Denver’s 3-2 road win over North Dakota. The victory was the Pioneers first of the season. Benning, a freshman, has five assists in four games for Denver this season. The Pioneers will take on Miami (Ohio) on Thursday.

In today’s games involving Panthers, Emil Djuse and Spartak Moscow will face Neftekhimik in the KHL.

Justin Schutz and EC Red Bull Salzburg will take on the Graz99ers in action from Austria’s ICE Hockey League.

The Philadelphia Flyers signed RFA defenseman Phillipe Myers to a new three-year deal worth $7,65 million. Myers produced 16 points in 50 regular season games and appeared in all 16 postseason games for the Flyers in 2019-20. (Broad Street Hockey)
